How predictions work and how points are earned

Prediction Phases

Each award show has two prediction phases. You can participate in one or both phases to maximize your points.

Phase 1: Nominee Predictions

Before the official nominees are announced, predict which games you think will be nominated in each category. This phase tests your knowledge of the gaming landscape and your ability to anticipate what the award committees will recognize.

  • Predict up to 5 games per category
  • Rank them in order of confidence
  • Lock in predictions before nominees are announced

Phase 2: Winner Predictions

Once official nominees are revealed, rank them in the order you think they'll win. This phase tests your understanding of what makes a winner and your ability to read the competitive landscape.

  • Rank all official nominees
  • Your #1 pick is your predicted winner
  • Lock in predictions before the ceremony

Scoring System

Nominee Prediction Points

Achievement Points
Correctly predicted nominee (any position) +2
Bonus: Predicted all nominees correctly +5

Winner Prediction Points

Achievement Points
Correctly predicted the winner +10

Double-Bet

Each award show gives you 2 double-bets to use however you like. When you apply a double-bet to a category, all points earned from that category are doubled — for both nominee and winner predictions.

  • You get 2 double-bets per award show
  • A double-bet doubles all points earned in that category
  • Use them on categories you feel most confident about
  • Unused double-bets do not carry over to other shows

Leaderboards

Your points contribute to multiple leaderboards:

  • Global Leaderboard: Your total points across all award shows
  • Award Show Leaderboard: Your ranking for a specific award show
  • Category Leaderboard: Your ranking for a specific category

Fair Play Guidelines

  • One account per person - multiple accounts will be banned
  • Do not share insider information that is not publicly available
  • Be respectful in comments and community interactions
  • Report any suspicious activity or bugs to the admins
